LETA becomes the official representative of Scanpix in Latvia

National information agency LETA has teamed up with the largest and most well-known photo agency in Scandinavia and the Baltics Scanpix, becoming the agency's official representative in Latvia, the head of LETA's marketing department Inese Sala informs.

Thus, LETA has expanded its range of visual information on events taking place in the Baltics and around the world.

With more than 40 sources, Scanpix features the most extensive photo and video database in the Baltics, representing such well-known international news and photo agencies such as Reuters, AFP, AP, PanterMedia, TASS, Buzzfoto, NY Times foto, and other global partners, as well as Baltic sources like Postimees, BNS, 15min.lt and others.

LETA will integrate the most important Scanpix products in its photo archive, so to alleviate work for users, as this content will now be available all at one place using the common search system. At the same time, it will also be possible to continue using the Scanpix search option. All of Scanpix's current clients will continue to enjoy the same services as before.

Cooperation with Scanpix will allow LETA to become the leading source of multimedia content in the Baltics.
